A former Gold Medalist gone BWF:VoC superstar seems to be a good fit, because Kurt Vertical became an instant hit. He did, however, have an original appearance in a Goblin KotW challenge where he did not do well. In his second appearance a little while later, he had become a very different animal. He started where he left off, and that was by winning the King of the World championship. His ferocity and technical ecstasy turned him towards the likes of Delete and the Z-Division. After bringing in Team Vertical, Kurt has eased back a bit and let his students have the stage. We don't expect him to be on the bench for long.
