Fowl Feast (2006)

Slap in the Back with DPO

Interviews with Terry Junk and The Pirates, Craven Von Payne and Lackey who stole DPO's keys and Slap's wallet.

#1 Contender’s Match: Gale Bates vs. Bouncer vs. Captain Blood vs. Fan vs. Skinny (19:18)

Referee: Duncan Hines

  • AMB came out with Wild Whitey Wilson and explained that although he was scheduled to defend his title in an Elimination Cell, he could not. It was in his contract that he could not compete in a Cell at a Fowl Feast event, so things kicked off with a number one contender’s match. It started as a triple threat, but Skinny made a surprise late entry.
  • No pinfalls until 6 minutes
  • Triple submission on The Skinny
  • Top Rope Hurricanranna by Captain Blood on The Skinny that landed him on his neck
  • At 14:32 The Fan hit a Fan Slam on The Skinny and Blood stood guard while Duncan Hines counted, but he stopped at a 2 count. To this day Duncan Hines has never explained himself and JLW fined him $25,000
  • At 16:00 things cooled down and Wild Whitey Wilson said, and I quote, “If I was at home I probably would change the channel because this match is getting so fucking boring.”
  • At 18 minutes The Skinny fell on Captain Blood sending him into a rage that ended with The Skinny receiving a ring-to-ring neck breaker that nearly paralyzed him and ended the match.

Winner: Captain Blood

Lumberjack Tag Team Match: The Lumberjacks vs. The Pirates (9:51)

No referee

Lumberjacks: The Skinny, The Bouncer and Terry Junk

  • The Lumberjacks debut match
  • Jake was dumped out of the ring nearly 10 times to be pummeled by the “lumberjacks” and at one point was beaten for over a minute before DPO finally gave orders to end the abuse.
  • At 3:30 the wrestlers in the ring went after the “lumberjacks,” but were quickly beaten down and sent back to the ring
  • A spinebuster/clothesline by The Lumberjacks on Craven Von Pain and a double cover ended the match.

Winner: The Lumberjacks

Ross “the Boss” Steinhart v Elk Mantis (6:57)

Referee: Ned Yoakes and Nick Cage

  • At 3:00 it was clear Elk Mantis was more involved with the ref than Ross. Ned Yoakes was assaulted by Mantis and then thrown from the ring. Nick Cage came from the back and the match resumed.
  • Sharpshooter locked in at 4:30, but Ned Yoakes came back to the ring and pulled Ross off and applied a sharpshooter of his own on Mantis.
  • Action resumed momentarily until Mantis realized he didn’t know how to do a submission hold and went after Ned Yoakes again.
  • As Mantis and Ned scuffled Ross Steinhart had clearly had enough. He knocked Ned out of the ring with a chair shot and Ned was escorted from the ring.
  • Mantis taunted Ned as he was escorted away and Ross did a roll up. Nick Cage counted the 1,2,3.

Winner: Ross “The Boss” Steinhart

  • At 2:50 Adam Junk and referee Mickey McCourt hit heads as Adam was trying to tag his brother.
  • Gale Bates went after Adam with hard leg attacks and then locked in a Figure 4 Leg Lock. Bouncer & Terry Junk argued outside the ring and Mickey McCourt tried to get them to their corners. While the referee was distracted Adam Junk reversed the Figure 4 and Gale tapped out briefly before releasing the hold.
  • Huge DDT by Adam Junk on Gale Bates.
  • Break Neck DDT by Bouncer on Terry Junk, which was partially reversed into a splash on Bouncer.
  • Adam Junk hit a Junk Splash on Gale at 8:30, but Gale put his knees up injuring both wrestlers.
  • Blatant kick in the balls by Terry in full view of the ref and quickly received his “one.”
  • Bobby Eaton hit Mickey McCourt with a cookie sheet and was chased to ring side and received his “one.”
  • At 12:00 all order was lost and Mickey desperately tried to get the men to the their corners. Mickey was knocked out and Platinum grabbed their belts and hit the Junks. Mickey caught them though and disqualified them.

Winner: The Newly Franchised Junk Brothers (no title change)

Z-Division Championship: Delete v Darkside v El Jim v Skinny (c) (11:57)

Referee: Tim Cortez

  • Jim started things off by chokeslamming Delete.
  • Action quickly went outside and Darkside took command with a steel chair.
  • At 5:00 big men, Jim & Darkside, were gaining a clear advantage.
  • 6:36 Delete hit an LA Greetings, but El Jim broke up the cover.
  • Jim sent Delete through wood leaning against the ring at 9:10. He followed this up with a powerbomb, but Skinny broke up the cover.
  • At 11:30 Jonny Blaze’s music hit and the camera panned around, but no one showed and the music stopped. Darkside took advantage of the distraction and hit an Imperial Slam on Skinny capturing the win.

Winner: Darkside

  • The camera cut, but then returned and Delete hit an LA Greetings on Darkside and won the belt using the 24/7 rule.

Winner: Delete

  • Jim tombstoned Delete quickly after and pinned Delete.

Winner: El Jim

  • El Jim headed to the back and as he descended down the ramp to the back a large collision was heard. The referee counted an unseen pin. Skinny then walked up the ramp holding the belt and the camera cut.

Winner: The Skinny

King of the World Qualifier: Jake Jack v Stockboy Willy v Craven Von Pain v Darkside v Elk Mantis (2:12)

No Referee

  • All that was required to win a shot at the champion Kurt Vertical, who was waiting in the ring, was to simply enter the ring.
  • The wrestlers started from 20 yards away from the ring and at the sound of the bell sprinted forward.
  • Men battled at ringside keeping each other from entering.
  • Elk Mantis crawled under the ring and was hanging on the ring apron, opposite the other wrestlers. Craven used quick thinking and shoved the ring sending Elk to the ground.
  • Several closes calls stopped by wrestlers diving at one another.
  • Finally, Craven Von Pain and Jake Jack suplexed Willy INTO the ring.

Winner: Stockboy Willy

King of the World Championship: Stockboy Willy v Kurt Vertical (c) (4:15)

No Referee

  • Vertical hit a full arsenal of belly-to-belly & german suplexes, followed by STFs and ankle locks.
  • Willy did manage to reverse a Vertical Slam into a front plex at (2:50). He followed it with a top rope suplex.

  • Vertical let loose and quickly hit a Vertical Slam, ending the match.

Winner: Kurt Vertical

Undisputed Heavyweight Championship: Captain Blood v Adam Milwaukee Brewer (c) (14:33)

Referee: Tim Cortez

  • AMB, uncharacteristically, went right at Captain Blood.
  • Blood showed a weakness as he blindly ran at AMB for a gore. He was successful once, but AMB took advantage after that and goated Blood into running at him. AMB did several “go-bye’s” and then took the offensive.
  • AMB at 8:15 hit a big Wild Thing, but Blood kicked out.
  • AMB followed this with an A-Bomb, but Blood kicked again.
  • At 9:49 Brewer hit a powerbomb that dropped Blood on his neck, but he kicked again.

  • Action returned to the ring where Blood tried to capitalize and hit a neckbreaker and splash, but AMB kicked out.
  • Blood hit a nasty Gore and looked to be the victor, but Skinny ran out to the ring and went after Blood.
  • The Fan ran out to the aid of Blood.
  • Platinum couldn’t resist and ran out to the ring and it was a full out “Stable War.”

Winner: No Contest
